I'm MaryAnn, better known to my friends as "mac". I am a retired special education teacher, who has also had a short (but historic) Army career, worked as a pediatric nurse for 10+ years, raised 4 kids and acquired a degree in fashion design along the way. Sounds like I'm as old as Abraham (and some days I feel it), but I'm not, although I admit I am getting close!

This is one of very few favorite pictures of me, mostly because I am wearing sunglasses and it's not a close-up......but also because it was taken at a place that is very dear to me. I love to travel and my husband teased me that if someone says "let's go", my bag is packed and I'm in the car with the motor running before the sentence is finished!! I have to admit that I think he is right......this time!
I started making rosaries for the missions and one thing led to another, as it so frequently does in my life AND here I am selling them on the web! I love designing special, unique rosaries, using beautiful and unusual beads. I have a special devotion to the Mother of God and would be quite happy if she allowed me to help spread devotion (not worship!) to her through the rosary. I pray that this venture will be successful because I always try to use my talents and gifts for God's glory.
To sum this up, I hope someday to be a composite of the parts of my favorite things...........my Faith, my family, and my fervor to find all things beautiful in Him. Thank you for looking at my rosaries and God bless you.
PostScript: It is said that God works in mysterious ways and I have to admit that I am a prime example of that.........the husband that I referred to above was ill for quite a long time and passed away in August, 2002. I thought my life was over, too, and even though I continued to 'live', I wanted very much to return home..........after all, I had had a good life, many ups and downs and I was ready to move on. I told my friends that all I wanted was to 'go home and rock the baby Jesus'. I thought I was finished with what I was supposed to do. But, we never know what God has in store for us.............and I will always believe that His sense of humor can't be topped!! In December, 2004 I met someone who has made me see that 'God isn't finished with me yet!' We literally had a whirlwind romance (which is another story...........ask me about it if you meet me at a conference or craft show!!), married and he is about to retire and we will continue this apostolate from New Hampshire!! I constantly thank God and Our Lady and St. Joseph for all that is part of my life!! I have the most wonderful Catholic man in my life and am living in a most beautiful part of this country..........how great is that!! Blessed be God forever!!
